Champagne Loriot Brut

For many years we have had our own champagne cuvée made by the winemaker Loriot, whose name is just coincidence with the humorist who is very well known in Germany. Loriot is the French name for a species of bird (the oriole), which is also the heraldic animal of the Prussian family "von Bülow's", to which the well-known humorist belongs - which explains how he got his stage name. The champagne was made from 70% Pinot Meunier grapes and 30% Chardonnay grapes from the best locations in the Vallée de Marne. It is pleasantly fruity, very charming and deliciously light.
