Château Chambon La Pelouse 2010

Chambon La Pelouse is located between Château Cantemerle and Château Giscours in the Haut Medoc appellation, on one of Macau's highest hills, right on the border with the Margaux appellation. Wine has been produced here for almost two centuries. In 1975 the vineyard was completely replanted with 20% Cabernet Franc, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Merlot. Yield restrictions in the vineyard, green harvest (technical jargon for thinning and thinning out the unripe grapes), organic work, fermentation with natural yeast, almost everything is done on Cambon to increase quality. Château Cambon has meanwhile achieved a leading position in the Haut-Medoc. Stunning value for money.
