Apple cider is one of the most beautiful refreshments on hot summer days, finely acidic, fruity and refreshingly sparkling. The refreshing comes from the combination of the fruit acids of different apple varieties that were allowed to grow in Normandy and the shot of refreshing carbonic acid that we added when bottling. There are two nice approaches to enjoyment. The first is very simple: when drunk well chilled, the cider is the perfect refreshment! The second approach is for the long drink lover and is called "Le Trou Normand", which means "the Norman hole". Add a shot of Calvados on ice, add a freshly cut apple slice and top up the glass with cider. In the further course of the lascivious afternoon, the ratios are then shifted in favor of the Calvados. So the "hole" is self-explanatory.
